At Life Cycle Music Therapy, we believe that everyone deserves access to quality care. We are committed to clear, transparent pricing and offer flexibility whenever possible to support the unique needs of individuals and families. Our goal is to provide services that are both meaningful and accessible, while ensuring the sustainability of our practice.
Our rates are thoughtfuly set in alignment with the Music Therapy Association of British Columbia's wage guidlines, while also reflecting the therapsit’s training, experience, and time- both in and out of sessions.

Customized sessions tailored to each client’s unique needs. Rates reflect both direct session time and the therapist’s preparation and documentation outside of sessions.

Kira recommends 45-minute sessions, with flexibility to adjust session lengths based on individual needs and goals.

Sessions designed for groups of 2-10 participants. Rates reflect both direct session time and the therapist’s preparation and documentation outside of sessions.

Groups of more than 10 participants may be accommodated and are subject to an additional $20.00 per participant.

Initial assessment: $100.00, 1 Hour
The following services are billed at $45.00 per 30 minutes:
Progress reports
Creation of session-related materials (e.g., audio recordings)
Completion of forms
Consultation (in-person, phone, email, etc.) with:
Case managers
Healthcare providers
Insurance adjusters
Other approved parties
Review of records
Requested letters and proposals
Court attendance and preparation time: Price determined on a case-by-case basis

Travel fees vary depending on location and will be clearly discussed prior to scheduling your session.
For travel beyond the therapist’s primary service area (Vernon), sessions may be accommodated with an additional fee calculated based on the round-trip kilometers driven.
These fees help cover transportation expenses and compensate for the therapist’s time and energy spent commuting, ensuring sustainable and quality care.

Cancelation Policy
More than 24 hours’ notice: No charge
24 hours’ notice or less: Full session fee charged
Missed appointment: Full session fee charged
Therapist cancellations: No charge
Kira understands that emergencies arise, and cancellation fee waving will be considered on a case‑by‑case basis

Extended Health Care Plans and the BC Medical Services Plan do not currently cover fees for contracted music therapists. However, clients may be eligible for coverage through other sources, such as ICBC, WorkSafeBC, or funding programs that support individuals with autism and other disabilities.
